Women

In the movie 300, these dialogues have perfectly showed one of the capabilities of a woman that no man can do:

Messenger: Who does this woman think she is that she can speak among men?
Queen Gorgo: Because only Spartan women give birth to real men.

I am not about the battle of the genders but this only shows the importance of the following matters:

1. Every person is unique as woman is unique from man because she can bear a child.
2. It is important that women grow up as intelligent person because they are usually the first teacher of every child. Studies proved that what a mother think and feel during pregnancy counts.
3. Even Jesus (our God) needs a mother.

Wasted

In Adrian van Kaam's book "The Dynamics of Spiritual Self Direction" he mentioned a very good thing about our life, he said, "Nothing in our lives is wasted. Even the negative experiences of the past can help us to prevent similar mistakes in our new life direction."

His words is one of the reasons why I have so much respect about everything. Good or bad makes up of who we are.

Do you want to know what's in your heart?

I saw this quote from Sir Jong's status message and it came from Windz which is really nice and holds so much truth...

"If you want to know what's in your heart; look at where your mind goes when it wanders."

Way to Heaven

We often hear the statement the way to heaven is narrow and the way to evil is wide. With that statement it seems more difficult to choose to do good since it is hard to do so unlike the other side that seems more convenient, pleasurable, and quick. I have that connotation and struggle too to always do only what is good until I read Bo Sanchez's amazing two questions...

First: In the Garden of Eden, how many fruits could Adam and Eve not eat? Answer: One. And how many could they actually eat - and eat as much? Answer: Everything else.

That's really nice, now I understood that no wonder I can find the simplest thing to be so beautiful and can give delight for my heart. Everything is good and great except one which is evil. I hope we'll see the world as a choice of all things beautiful and we know what to avoid.

Dream

I like the words of Rodney's father in the movie Robots, he said, "The dream that you can't fight for will haunt you for the rest of your life."

Isn't that suppose we are to aim if we want to live a happy life? Just make sure that the dream is good.

Anger and Forgiveness

This Holy Week I learned to appreciate the value and importance of forgiveness. There are moments when we cannot control our anger and we just burst into grumpiness and pick a fight. We cannot always choose pleasantness but we need to let that out as long as no relationship is damaged forever. Life is short and it would be such a waste that we carry a heavy heart. I hope as soon as we realize that we should not sweat the small stuffs and we have to extend our understanding; and when we still find it difficult to lose our pride let us follow the example of Jesus who suffered so much under the confused men, he said before he died to pay for ous sins, "Father, forgive them. They don't know what they're doing."

If we think we deserve justice and we don't seem to get it, let us leave it to God who is the most just of all.

Time

"The secret of having enough time lies not in working more hours, but in the proper planning of hours."

I should live this quote and enough excuses that there are so many things to do so little time. It's also a matter of choosing what is really my priority and go for it!

Romantic

Never trust words of love whispered at a beach, or under the moon, or any romantic and beautiful place. But if you got a flat tire, stocked at the middle of no where, sun was up giving you both a headache, you started getting annoyed with one another, but he still blurted out he loves you... then believe it.

Happy Good Bye

Today I decided to delete my 7th active blog. I have two accounts at wordpress, one of them have two blogs and the other got one so I decided to terminate the account with one blog. It's not really emotional to let go one of my blogs... I just thought I want to keep all of them updated and this one is making some disturbing something. Anyway, when I confirmed the blog's deletion, I was quite surprise with wordpress final sentence of saying good bye, it says: "Happy trails to you until we meet again." Wehihihihi Wordpress I still got one account and that I intend to develop; two blogs right now and it might have more soon - so no good bye for both of us.

Looking For Love

Are you looking for love? Why not let love finds you? Here is a great thought from M. Scott Peck which he wrote in his "The Road Less Traveled" book.

"Everyone wants to be loved. But first we must make ourselves lovable. We must prepare ourselves to be loved. We do this by becoming ourselves loving, disciplined human beings. If we seek to be loved - if we expect to be loved - this cannot be accomplished; we will be dependent and grasping, not genuinely loving. But when we nurture ourselves and others witout a primary concern of finding reward, then we will have become lovable, and the reward of being loved, which we have not sought, will find us."
